Our story really began in 2020, when Jimish randomly messaged Mahima and somehow that one conversation turned into months–and then years–of staying in touch. We became good friends without even trying. No pressure, no expectations…just two people who genuinely enjoyed talking to each other.
Fast forward to Mandir Mahotsav in 2023
When we finally met in person, we told ourselves it was “just as friends,” but the way time flew that day said otherwise. Talking felt so easy, like we’d known each other forever. We didn’t say anything then, but we both felt something shift.
A few months later
Jimish finally asked Mahima to make it official, and that’s when everything really started. Our first date wasn’t fancy, just açaí bowls, but it was perfect and so very us.
From there, everything just kept getting better
We met each other’s parents, got more comfortable in each other’s worlds, and then came Mahima’s first real trip to San Antonio…where we ended up going skydiving together because why not? If we were going to fall for each other, we might as well do it from 14,000 feet in the air.
Then came one of the biggest moments of our lives
May 2025, in Italy, at the Star Wars villa (yes, really). That’s where Jimish proposed, and Mahima said yes through a whole lot of happy tears.
Some months later, in August 2025, we celebrated our Indian engagement surrounded by everyone who matters to us.
And now… we’re just counting down.
Counting down to the moment we finally get to start forever as husband and wife.
We can’t wait for this next chapter. 💙✨
